Delete your Hommato account

In the app

Open Hommato, go to Profile → Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete account. Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@hommato.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Hommato account". We'll confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, email address, and profile photo.
• Your device push tokens and notification settings.
• Your household membership. If you're the owner of a household, the household and everything in it — bills, appliances, car records, warranties, calendar events, and attached photos — is deleted for every member.

Account data is removed straight away; stored photos are removed within 24 hours. Copies may remain in our hosting provider's encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten.

What stays

If you're a member (not the owner) of a household, the records in it belong to that household and stay available to its other members after you leave.
